The Sherwood 2020 Vision was launched in October, 2007. More than 500 students, parents, citizens, business leaders, and staff participated in a variety of school and community forums. More than 200 citizens also participated in an on-line survey. Although many different insights and perspectives were shared, several common themes emerged. These common areas of interest and shared ideas for the future provide the framework for our Sherwood School District Vision.
Our best hopes and aspirations for Sherwood students are highlighted in this comprehensive report. We believe the 2020 Vision provides a blueprint for action, and it serves to prioritize resource decisions to best support important opportunities for students.
