Health Screenings

Routine health screenings are important to the student's well-being.  The Sherwood School District offers several health screenings to our students.  The OAR 581.022.0705 states the school district shall maintain a prevention oriented health service program for all students that include vision, dental and hearing screenings.  Check with your child's school office for specific screening type and dates.

All screenings are free of charge.  If you want to opt out of the screening please contact your school main office.  Thank  you.

Most children pass the exam and their "passing" results will not be sent home to the parent/guardian unless specifically requested.  For those children who receive a "not passing" ("referral") result, the details of the screening will be sent to parents/guardians in student backpack mail.
