Sherwood High School is proud to present its first musical in over a decade!

Set in the 1950’s, Bye Bye Birdie tracks the antics of Conrad Birdie, a musical pop sensation, as he prepares to enter the armed services.  As a publicity stunt, a fan is selected to receive Conrad’s “One Last Kiss” on the Ed Sullivan show before he heads off to active duty. The fan selected is Kim MacAfee of Sweet Apple, Ohio.  Musical numbers include: “One Last Kiss,”  “If You’re Really Sincere,” and “Put on a Happy Face.”

A cast of over 30 Sherwood High School students take the stage April 19, 20, and 21 at the Sherwood High School Performing Arts Center.  Doors open at 6:00 pm and curtain is at 7:00 p.m.  Dust of your saddle shoes and poodle skirts -- this production promises to be a delight!
