SHS Welcomes New Associate Principal, Scott Hadden

Scott Hadden, new Associate Principal of SHS
Sherwood School District is pleased to announce Scott Hadden as the new Associate Principal at Sherwood High School. Mr. Hadden currently teaches math and serves as the department chair at Tigard High School. He will assume his new role on July 1, 2016. 

“I am so excited to join the Sherwood High School team. The school district and people I’ve met through the process have been extremely supportive. I look forward to helping Sherwood students and staff continue to pursue academic excellence,” said Scott Hadden, new Associate Principal at Sherwood High School. 

Mr. Hadden earned his Bachelor’s degree from University of Oregon and his Master’s degree from Willamette University. He began his teaching career at McKay High School where he taught Social Studies and Math for four years. Mr. Hadden has spent the past ten years at Tigard High School as a math teacher and assistant basketball coach. He obtained his administrative license through Portland State University this past year. 

“We feel very fortunate to add Scott Hadden to our school leadership team. His strong instructional background and passion for building meaningful relationships will strengthen the great work already being done at Sherwood High School,” said Ken Bell, SHS Principal. 

Mr. Hadden currently resides in Portland with his wife and their five year old twin sons.
