Sherwood School District is proud to announce that two Sherwood High School staff members were recently honored with state awards.  Athletic Director Randy Ramp was named Oregon Athletic Director of the year by the Oregon Athletic Directors Association.  Career and Technical Education (CTE) Teacher Allison Meadows was named Outstanding New CTE Teacher of the Year by the Oregon Association of Career and Technical Education.

After 18 years of service as an Athletic Director, 14 of which have been at Sherwood High School, Randy Ramp was honored for his outstanding leadership and service.  Ramp has twice previously been named 5A Athletic Director of the Year, but this is his first time being honored as Athletic Director of the Year for all classifications in the state of Oregon.

In her second year leading the Agriculture Science and Metals program at Sherwood High School, Allison Meadows was honored for her program development, innovative classroom instruction and positive influence on her students and colleagues.  In addition to her work in the classroom, Meadows serves as the advisor of our Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapter and is heavily involved in the leadership of FFA at the state and regional level.
