Sherwood School District is pleased to announce the hiring of Holly Peterson as our Instruction and Data Coordinator. She officially started work on July 1st and takes over for Dr. Steven Sugg who was recently hired as the Superintendent of the Sheridan School District.

“About a year and a half ago, I moved to Sherwood with my family to ensure that our two sons would have the best education possible. Since living here, we have come to love being a part of such a close-knit community and couldn’t be more pleased with our decision. My eldest son will start kindergarten at Hopkins in the fall and I am excited to share my skills and knowledge with the schools which our children will attend,” said Mrs. Peterson.

Mrs. Peterson comes to us from the Hillsboro School District where she served in a variety of roles including as an elementary reading specialist and as a district level curriculum specialist. Her experience with program evaluation, data-based decision making, and management of state and federal programs are a great asset to her in her new role. Her experience as a primary teacher and as an elementary reading specialist will be a great addition to our district office team.

Holly’s knowledge, skills, and passion for providing our students with the best education possible will serve our students and our staff well. We are excited to add her as the newest member of our administrative team.
