- You’re Invited! -

Sherwood School District has been exploring the possibility of a capital bond that could result in a ballot measure in the November 2016 elections.  The passing of a bond would steer the future of Sherwood Schools and the academic experiences of generations of learners - and we’d like you to be a part of this effort!

As we explore the greatest needs of our facilities, students and staff across the District, we need the input and perspective of a variety of interested stakeholders that are willing to share in the conversations about guiding principles, within which projects could be identified, and how we can align the Strategic Plan initiatives of the District to our facilities.  It is important to note that the Board has not made a decision yet concerning a bond measure, but they are deeply immersed in learning more about what a bond would mean for Sherwood School District.

A Bond Visioning Committee will participate in three evening meetings, on February 16, February 22, and February 29.  All meetings will be from 5:30-8:00pm, in the cafeteria at Archer Glen Elementary School, and food will be provided.

If you would like to participate, please respond to the RSVP form linked here by 11:59pm on Friday, February 12, 2016.

If you can join us, please visit the documents linked for you below to become more familiar with our Strategic Plan and recent Facilities Assessment, as these will be referenced during the Bond Visioning meetings:

These meetings are open to the public, so if you have friends or neighbors interested in participating, please feel free to share this information and ask them to complete the RSVP form by Friday, February 12, at 11:59pm.
